Position Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to build a rewarding career within long-term care pharmacy. Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in ensuring safe, accurate, and timely medication management for residents while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and clinical appropriateness.
- Provide patient-centred pharmaceutical care and clinical recommendations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.
- Support medication management for residents in long-term care and continuing care settings.
- Ensure compliance with all provincial regulatory and professional standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and a collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist in Alberta.
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Previous experience in long-term care or community pharmacy is considered an asset.
